Job summary

Batteries Plus in Maryland is hiring a Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, coach a high-performing team, and boost retail sales. You will manage opening/closing, inventory, merchandising, and customer service while ensuring safety and company standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of retail management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to handle battery testing, installation, and light repairs. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Degree in business or retail management preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail management and supervisory experience.
• Experience in commercial sales desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to meet company goals.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Track and support performance against KPIs to ensure business success.
• Deliver customer service and support battery testing, installations, and device repair.
• Maintain store appearance, safety compliance, and operational standards.
