Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps for counseling or termination.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate expectations; coordinate meetings to ensure safety and policy adherence.
• Open and close the store on a regular basis as required.
• Evaluate operating statements for trends and cost control opportunities.
• Order to meet in-stock targets; manage inventory and cycle counts.
• Facilitate efficient merchandising and proper pricing and signage.
• Maintain accurate inventory and cash controls; ensure security practices.
