Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of management experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to recruit, hire and train qualified applicants.
• Ability to communicate performance and safety expectations.
• Ability to manage staffing to ensure proper store coverage.
• Knowledge of cash handling and store security procedures.
• Bilingual Spanish speakers may be preferred at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees per policies and laws.
• Provide training, evaluate performance, and counsel or terminate when needed.
• Recommend pay rate and advancement based on performance.
• Communicate expectations and coordinate staff meetings for safety and policies.
• Open and close the store consistently and manage daily operations.
• Review sales, inventory and expenses to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure stock levels and merchandising meet in-stock targets.
• Maintain accurate inventory and prevent damages and losses.
• Uphold cash control and security practices in the store.
• Deliver superior customer service leadership and a safe environment.
