Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of management experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to recruit, hire and train staff in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Ability to communicate expectations and coach staff effectively.
• Familiarity with inventory management and merchandising practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies.
• Provide training and conduct performance evaluations; counsel if needed.
• Recommend pay and advancement decisions.
• Communicate expectations; coordinate meetings to ensure safety and policy adherence.
• Open and close store as required; maintain staffing levels.
• Review sales and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing and signage across the store.
• Maintain cash controls and security procedures; monitor shrink and losses.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Comply with company SOPs and complete all required paperwork.
