You will recruit and develop associates, ensure onboarding and training, manage payroll and scheduling, and uphold company policies while delivering outstanding gaming experiences. This role requires strong leadership and flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Video game knowledge preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Store Manager will manage and lead in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service.
• Respond to guest questions or concerns quickly and courteously.
• Promote GameStop’s guest benefits, e.g., new title reservations program, trade-in program, and Pro Rewards.
• Recruit, interview, hire, assess, develop, and retain high-performing associates.
• Ensure onboarding, job training, and compliance training prior to opening/closing shifts.
• Communicate with store staff and District Manager to implement store initiatives.
• Schedule staff to ensure optimal guest service and compliance with breaks.
• Approve payroll and manage paid time off; track time in HR systems.
• Maintain neat, organized store areas and ensure fixtures are in proper working order.
