Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a Store Manager (full-time) to lead a high-performing team and maintain superb store presentation in our Texas location. You will drive sales, coach staff, manage merchandising, and ensure excellent customer service while upholding brand standards.

The role requires 4–6 years in retail, strong organizational and communication skills, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-6 years of retail experience, including staff supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate resources and services to achieve goals.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends and/or holidays.
• Understanding of how to develop staff with experience in staffing, coaching, counseling, etc.

• Maintain safety and operational standards.
• Possess retail operations knowledge including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and store budget preparation.
• Ensure compliance with loss prevention, safety policies, and company directives.
• Assist in training, operations, sales, visual merchandising, inventory management, store administration, and customer service.
• Display organizational skills to coordinate people, resources, and services to address business goals.
• Process information through the computer system and POS register system.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.
