Job summary

Boot Barn in Fairfield, CA seeks a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and build a high-performing team. You will mentor staff, optimize staffing and payroll, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold visual standards across all departments.

The role emphasizes training, product knowledge, and community engagement to achieve profitability and a best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead store partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Develop training plans and ensure expert-level product knowledge across categories.
• Assess localized customer needs and communicate to District Manager.
• Analyze sales trends to maximize revenue and meet key metrics.
• Coach and recognize staff; be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Ensure adequate staffing and manage payroll implications.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and adherence to company guidelines.
• Lead associates in promoting Boot Barn Credit Card and Loyalty programs.
• Plan and execute community outreach and experiential events.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures and attendance policies are followed.
