Burlington Stores in California-Menifee is seeking a Store Manager to lead a multi-million-dollar store operation, mentor a team of associates, and deliver a world-class shopping experience while upholding Burlington’s values.

As Manager on Duty, you will oversee merchandising, operations, scheduling, payroll, and partner with district and regional teams to maximize sales and control costs. This full-time, in-office role requires 5+ years in retail management and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of policies and initiatives.
• Ensure Assistant Managers and store team members fulfill their responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandising placement, promotions and pricing with Merchandising leadership.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs, and chargebacks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budgets with reporting and record-keeping.
• Recruit and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboard and train new associates; provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Oversee payroll budgeting, workforce management and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication among store, district, regional teams and other partners.
