Job summary

Burlington in Rialto, CA is seeking a Store Manager to lead a multi-million-dollar store operation. You will mentor and coach a team of assistants and store associates, delivering excellent customer service and a world-class shopping experience, while aligning with Our Burlington values.

You will oversee merchandising, operations, scheduling, payroll, and inventory, partner with district and regional teams, and drive sales results. Role requires 5+ years retail management and a hands-on leader.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates.
• Ensure team fulfills responsibilities per company policies, standards and initiatives.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions and pricing.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs, and chargebacks for inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget and reporting.
• Recruitment, screening and hiring of associates to meet staffing needs.
• Facilitate onboarding and training, coaching, and development activities.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budgeting, workforce management and scheduling.
• Facilitate effective communication among store, district and regional teams.
