Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Store Manager in California to oversee all aspects of a multi-million-dollar store operation. You will mentor and coach a team of assistants, supervisors and associates, ensuring excellent customer service and a world-class shopping experience.

You'll manage budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and partnerships with district and regional teams, while upholding Burlington SOPs and driving results in a fast-growing off-price environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting computer software.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to implement policies and initiatives.
• Ensure team fulfills individual responsibilities and drives store performance.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions, and pricing with Merchandising leadership.
• Oversee receiving, transfers, RTVs, and chargebacks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; model Burlington SOPs and lead by example.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budgets with reports and records.
• Recruit, screen and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboard and train new hires; coach and develop the team.
