Burlington Stores in California is seeking a Store Manager to lead day-to-day store operations, drive sales, mentor staff, and uphold Our Burlington values. You will be a role model for excellent customer service and demonstrate integrity in managing a multi-million-dollar store operation.

You will manage staffing, merchandising coordination, and scheduling while ensuring a world-class shopping experience in a fast-paced off-price environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to implement policies and initiatives.
• Ensure team members fulfill their responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions, and pricing with Merchandising.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs, and chargebacks for inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budget and related reporting.
• Recruit, screen, and hire store staff to meet staffing needs.
• Onboard and train new associates; provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Oversee payroll budget, workforce management, and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication between store, district, and regional teams.
