Burlington Stores in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of a multi-million-dollar store operation, delivering a world-class shopping experience and driving profitability.

You will mentor and coach a team of Assistant Managers, Supervisors and Associates, manage scheduling, payroll, inventory, and partnerships with merchandising and operations to drive results. The role requires 5+ years of retail management and a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of store leadership to implement policies and initiatives.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions and pricing with Merchandising.
• Review receiving, transfers, RTVs and chargebacks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and uphold store SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budgets with reporting and records.
• Recruit, screen and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboard and train new associates; provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Handle personnel relations, payroll budgeting and scheduling.
• Foster communication across the store team, district and regional partners.
