Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC in Ruston, LA is seeking a Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations, motivate a team of 8–15, and drive store performance across all shifts.

You will own operations, handle inventory, banking, and merchandising, while delivering exceptional service, upselling promotions, and maintaining safety, cleanliness, and labor efficiency. Retail or food-management experience and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21+ years old
• Certification Must have (or be able to obtain) a Food Safety Certification
• Retail or food management experience preferred
• A valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance (required for bank deposits)

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of store operations, team, and performance.
• Lead and inspire a team of 8-15 employees across all shifts.
• Be the go‑to person for coverage; work days with availability for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform duties of store employees including running the register, stocking, upselling, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining the lot and fuel pumps.
• Coach team members to deliver excellent service and actively upsell promotions and key items.
• Recruit, hire, and train new team members; focus on growth, accountability, and teamwork.
• Manage inventory, vendor orders, deliveries, and merchandising.
• Handle all banking and cash deposits; must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Control expenses and labor hours while achieving store sales goals.
• Execute all company programs and marketing initiatives.
• Be willing to take on deli or QSR management when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
