Job summary

GPM Investments is seeking a Store Manager for Store 4284 in Ruston, LA. You will lead daily store operations, supervise a team of 8-15 employees, and drive performance across shifts, including evenings and weekends.

A valid driver’s license, strong leadership, and hands-on management are essential. The role offers a competitive hourly wage with a potential sign-on and benefits, and requires a Food Safety Certification.

Qualifications

• Open availability with ability to work any shift
• Valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance
• Retail or food management experience preferred
• Willingness to lead by example in all aspects of store operations
• Strong communication, integrity, and decisiveness
• Minimum age requirement: 21+ years old
• Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain) a Food Safety Certification

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of store operations, team, and performance.
• Lead and inspire a team of 8-15 employees across all shifts.
• Be the go-to person when coverage is needed; available for any shift including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform all duties of store employees including running the register, stocking, upselling, cleaning, and maintaining the lot and fuel pumps.
• Coach team members to deliver excellent service and actively upsell promotions and key items.
• Recruit, hire, and train new team members.
• Manage inventory, vendor orders, deliveries, and merchandising.
• Handle banking and cash deposits with required license and insurance.
• Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Control expenses and labor hours while achieving store sales goals.
• Execute all company programs and marketing initiatives.
• Be willing to cross-train and support deli or QSR operations when necessary.
