Job summary

Toys“R”Us in Indianapolis seeks a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and create a fun, customer-focused environment at Castleton Square. You will develop a high-performing team, coordinate with Merchandising, Promotions, Events, Training and Finance, and ensure excellent customer experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Associate degree and at least 2 years in retail or related leadership.

Qualifications

• BA, BS or Associate’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years in retail, hospitality or event-execution management.
• Self-motivated, accountable, responsible and open to feedback.
• Proven successful experience as a retail store manager with sales focus.
• Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budgeting and loss prevention preferred.
• Experience in behavioral coaching, conflict management, training and development is a plus.
• Proficient computer skills, e.g., Microsoft Office; POS experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Ability to manage a sales floor by delegating tasks, ensuring stock and visual merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Create an animated, appealing environment that delivers a memorable customer experience.
• Build a customer-centric team capable of delivering sales targets while maintaining a cheerful environment.
• Provide leadership and accountability through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Plan and analyze store performance, KPIs and in-store events with Home Office partners.
• Share knowledge with team and Home Office to improve product presentation and customer insights.
