Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate in Pennsylvania to support the Store Manager in all store processes, supervise staff, manage inventory, and handle stock and receiving. This role is intended to develop external candidates for the Store Manager position for a limited period.

The successful candidate will assist in recruiting, merchandising, inventory and loss prevention, and will help ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while delivering excellent customer

Competenze

• Must read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, and manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and report generation.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Understanding of cash, safety, and key control policies.

Mansioni

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and staging of merchandise.
• Assist in inventory management, damages, markdowns, scans, paperwork, and controls.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership.
• Adhere to company procedures and policies as outlined in handbooks and SOPs.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of company funds.
• Maintain cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked stores and a safe environment for customers and employees.
• Operate store in store manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Complete paperwork and documentation on time.
