Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Store Manager in Training to assist in all aspects of store operations, sales, and team leadership in Cedar Rapids. You will partner with the district and store managers to recruit, train, evaluate, promote, and discipline staff while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes learning to manage gross profit components, review KPI dashboards, and participate in monthly P&L discussions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Train new team members and handle performance evaluations; recommend pay increases.
• Support store manager by coordinating with the assistant management team on safety and training.
• Make sales calls with/without store manager and schedule weekly customer calls.
