Job summary

Kwik Shop, Inc. seeks a Managers In Training to lead in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support the Store Manager, train and coach teammates, and help ensure 100% in-stock and exceptional guest service.

During official training weeks you’ll work with Training Managers and Supervising Managers, rotating shifts to learn operations, vendors and guest experience. After training you join the bench leadership team and prepare for your own store.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role.
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching team members.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor, rotating stock and keeping product levels full.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, & food safety programs in locations that offer hot food.
• Maintain overall store appearance and cleanliness, including coffee station and restrooms.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• Assist the Store Manager in locations with hot food operations and perform other duties as assigned.
