Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager-in-Training to oversee store operations and guide a team toward delivering excellent service. The role focuses on developing leadership capabilities and preparing for a future store-management position.

You will participate in the hiring process, supervise staff, and ensure safety compliance while driving sales and operational excellence across the store and HUB operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and team members to ensure daily performance.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing and staff development.
• Train and evaluate team members; recommend raises.
• Ensure safety compliance and staff training.
• Engage in sales calls and customer outreach.
• Manage fleet maintenance records and store organization.
• Analyze KPIs and monthly P&L with manager.
