Job summary

Rent-A-Center is seeking a Store Manager in Training to lead daily sales efforts, guide a team, and ensure excellent customer service. The role emphasizes achieving revenue targets, supervising collections, and safeguarding assets while developing leadership skills through RAC's Store Manager Development Program.

You will drive store performance, manage schedules, recruit staff, and train coworkers to maintain strong customer relationships and accountable operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail/management experience.
• Completion of RAC's Store Manager Development Program during training period.
• Computer literacy/proficiency in store operation applications.
• Valid state driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Sales: Set daily and weekly goals related to the store's sales activities and oversee coworkers' sales efforts.
• Account Management: Oversee collections activities and coach staff on procedures for customer commitments.
• Leadership: Manage store profits through resource, inventory, pricing, and cash-handling oversight.
• Coworker Management: Train, schedule, hire, and retain coworkers to deliver exceptional service.
