Location: Coastal Carolina BU - Region 03 - Market 01: 5717 Castle Hayne Rd, Castle Hayne, North Carolina 28429
Availability - Shift/Days: Flexible Availability
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in retail sales preferred.
- Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities under described conditions.
- Ability to supervise and train staff, including equipment, tools, and materials as per CSR and ASM descriptions.
- Ability to manage functions listed in CSR and ASM roles.
- Proficiency in computer skills for report analysis, inventory, cash control, etc.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation for meetings.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Skills:
Leadership and Management
- Recruit, hire, and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
- Manage site cleanliness, stock levels, organization, and appearance.
- Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisors.
- Schedule staff to maximize service and uphold site standards.
- Apply non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating, and separation processes.
Site Relationships
- Develop positive relationships with suppliers.
- Address customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Promote a safe, positive community image.
Training and Development
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback.
- Ensure staff training on customer service, site image, and safety.
Communication
- Ensure timely and effective communication with staff and management.
- Hold regular meetings with staff and managers.
Organizing and Planning
- Develop action plans to meet site objectives.
- Maintain all site documentation and reports.
- Oversee merchandise display, pricing, and stock levels.
Financial
- Analyze sales and expenses to maximize profits.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and merchandise margins.
- Safeguard financial transactions.
Working Conditions
- Primarily indoor work, with outdoor tasks like cleaning and maintenance.
- Exposure to temperature extremes and noise.
- Work with minimal supervision, demonstrating leadership qualities.
