AS A STORE MANAGER, A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

  • Driving total store sales and understanding your role in sales growth and profitability.
  • Building and leading a guest-centric culture, utilizing guest survey tools to improve the shopping experience.
  • Championing credit and loyalty programs to inform and educate guests about benefits that enhance their shopping experience.
  • Ensuring operational accuracy, process efficiency, and workload management.
  • Executing merchandising standards, product flow, inventory management, and signage to maintain brand consistency.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A BEALLS OR HOME CENTRIC STORE MANAGER:
  • Strong coaching, training, and engagement skills with diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport and trust.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Zebra PDA, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and payroll/scheduling software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Goal-setting, performance management, and accountability skills.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A STORE MANAGER:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of management experience preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry at least 20 pounds.
  • Must have full-body mobility for bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
