Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated Store Manager development program in which you will learn all store operations, including front-end and pharmacy, under supervision. You will complete classroom, online, and on-the-job training and rotate through stores to meet learning objectives.

You will shadow the Store Manager, develop leadership and performance skills, and work toward Store Manager readiness through the required development plan and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (United States)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operation (front-end and pharmacy) of a Walgreens store under the direction of the Store Manager.
• Shadows Store Manager to gain experience in opening/closing shifts and task delegation.
• Supports store operations by shadowing or assisting the Store Manager in leading the store during the learning journey.
• Learns and applies compliance SOPs across front-end and pharmacy and becomes proficient with Walgreens computer systems.
