Job summary

Walgreens offers an accelerated Store Manager development program designed to teach store operations across front-end and pharmacy. Participants learn through classroom training, on-the-job rotations, and shadowing the Store Manager to gain hands-on leadership experience.

The program includes completing required certifications, achieving readiness for a permanent Store Manager role, and ongoing coaching with the District Manager and Director of Pharmacy and Retail operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-end and pharmacy store operations under Store Manager.
• Shadow Store Manager and participate in opening/closing shifts and delegating tasks to team members.
• Analyze store and pharmacy performance data and develop action plans to improve results.
• Lead coaching and development of team members to improve customer experience and SOP adherence.
