Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, including employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, stocking, and paperwork. This role develops an external candidate for future Store Manager duties and is held for a limited period.

The position involves recruiting support, merchandising, inventory control, cashier accountability, and maintaining a safe, well-stocked store environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Two or more years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Two or more years in a retail grocery setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stocking according to guidelines.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management and audits.
• Follow prescribed ordering to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership.
• Ensure cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, well-stocked store environment.
• Review operating statements to identify trends and opportunities.
• Complete paperwork and documentation on time.
