Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager in daily operations, staff supervision, merchandising, inventory, and processes. This limited-period position develops internal candidates for the Store Manager role and ensures store needs are met.

You will assist in recruiting, stocking, inventory, financial controls, customer service leadership, and store opening/closing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in a leadership or managerial position.
• Two or more years of experience in a retail grocery store strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stocking according to guidelines.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management and paperwork.
• Support in meeting in-stock targets and customer service leadership.
• Operate store in the manager's absence and review performance metrics.
