Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to oversee all store operations, drive sales, staffing, training, and policy compliance. You will lead a team, manage inventory, ensure shrink reduction, and uphold safety standards while delivering excellent customer service daily.

You will be responsible for open/close procedures, staff development, and maintaining a clean, organized store in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees per laws and policies; ensure staffing.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Recommend pay rate and career advancement for staff.
• Communicate expectations and coordinate meetings for safety and policies.
• Open and close the store as required.
