Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and loss prevention basics.
• Experience with inventory management and merchandising practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage all store employees and plan/store processes including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling and staffing.
• Provide training and evaluate performance; address gaps and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Make recommendations on pay rates and advancement; ensure proper staffing and coverage.
• Lead safety, security and policy communications; frequently open and close the store.
• Ensure accurate inventory, proper cashier accountability and adherence to cash control procedures.
• Deliver superior customer service leadership and maintain a clean, organized store environment.
