Soma, part of KnitWell Group, is seeking a Store Manager for the Lansing, MI store at 5528-Eastwood Towne Center. You will lead the team, build community connections, and shape a seamless customer experience that reflects our hospitality culture.

This role drives store performance, coaches and develops staff, and ensures compliance with policies while maintaining brand standards. You’ll motivate the team, interpret store reports, and create an engaging shopping environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail management experience
• 2 years in Store Manager role
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays
• Ownership mindset and leading by example
• High accountability and initiative
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage payroll and schedules
• Strong business acumen with reporting analysis

Responsibilities

• Define a clear vision to drive customer-centered culture and store results
• Hire, develop and coach an effective retail team
• Own store financials: payroll, schedules, and sales goals
• Lead by setting expectations and providing feedback to the team
• Use store reports to create action plans and improve metrics
• Maintain a visually inspiring store that reflects brand standards
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams
