Job summary

Walgreens in the United States seeks a Store Manager to lead daily store and pharmacy operations, drive sales and profitability through strategic merchandising, and develop team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer and patient experience.

You will supervise scheduling, training, inventory, and compliance with laws, partner with the District Manager, manage community outreach, and ensure excellent service across all touchpoints, from greeting customers to resolving issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversees store and pharmacy operations including scheduling and task delegation.
• Monitors customer service and trains team to deliver excellent service.
• Analyzes financial and performance data; develops action plans to increase sales and control costs.
• Ensures compliance with all corporate policies, applicable employment laws, and is consistently fair in the treatment of all team members.
