Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience with sales, customer service, and cash handling.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, work in an autonomous environment, and provide store level leadership.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio and present options that meet their needs.
• Interact with customers, using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Escalate issues to District Director of Operations as needed.
• Respond professionally to general questions, applications, and transactions per policy.
• Handle currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits; may assist with bank pickups.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications for transactions including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies; complete training timely.
• Coordinate operations and training to meet metric targets; maintain staff schedule.
• Assist with recruiting, selection, and onboarding of Assistant Store Managers.
