Qualifications

• Strong reading and interpretation of manuals, safety rules, and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math and percentages for inventories and reports.
• Knowledge of cash handling, deposits, and cashier accountability.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and report generation.
• Understanding of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Knowledge of cash, safety controls, and store security procedures.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, and training is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail-oriented.
• Able to work well with others and resolve problems in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting and staffing activities as needed.
• Assist with merchandising, staging, stocking, and pricing per policy.
• Help manage inventory, damages, markdowns, and paperwork; conduct inventories.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and store operations support.
• Role model company policies and safety procedures.
• Participate in opening and closing store activities.
• Maintain cash controls, deposits, and bank interactions.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked store environment.
• Assist in operating the store in the manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Complete all required paperwork and deadlines.
