Qualifications

• Understand and interpret safety rules, procedures, and operating instructions.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions, inventories, and reporting.
• Knowledge of cash handling, deposits, and cashier accountability.
• Familiarity with IBM cash registers and reporting functions.
• Experience with inventory and merchandising practices.
• Awareness of store security, deposits, keys, and related policies.
• Knowledge of recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Bilingual Spanish abilities may be preferred at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Support merchandising, staging, stocking, and pricing according to store directions.
• Help manage inventory, damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and store presence.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Participate in opening/closing procedures and cash handling controls.
• Review operating statements to identify trends and opportunities.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
