Job summary

Diamonds Direct in Pittsburgh is seeking an energetic Jewelry Store Manager with leadership and store-management experience. You will oversee staffing, training, and achieving sales goals while representing the brand at events and driving customer engagement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and prior jewelry industry background. You will coach sales staff, manage inventory, and ensure exceptional service on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years related experience in business.
• Previous experience in the jewelry industry required.
• Jewelry store management experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret general business materials.

Diamonds Direct is looking for an energetic, motivating, self-starting, experienced Jewelry Store Manager.

Essential Duties:

Leadership

• Responsible for representing Diamonds Direct at designated functions and marketing opportunities.
• Stays abreast of current and relevant trends in the industry and educates employees to promote optimal performance.
• Proven leader or top performer in current/previous role(s)

Management

• Creates and manages employee schedules
• Trains and develops sales professionals
• Collaborates with GM & VP to set monthly and annual store goals
• Role models appropriate sales techniques
• Ensures inventory control and best practices

Customer Management

• Develops and maintains relationships with key customers
• Demonstrates exemplary customer service and coach employees to do the same
• Is visible on the sales floor to resolve issues/requests in a timely manner

Education/Experience:

• Previous experience in the jewelry industry required.
• Jewelry store management experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
