PRIMARY PURPOSE AND MISSION STATEMENT:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Store Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the grocery store including enforcement of all policies, standards, security measures, and regulations of FAIRVALUE, a division of ROC. Responsible for hiring, training and maintaining the entire store work force. Maintains FAIRVALUE's high standards of customer service. Responsible for labor scheduling, store cash and store inventory. Other duties include, but are not limited to receiving trucks and DSD vendors; maintaining sanitation and safety standards; store maintenance; and pricing and file maintenance issues. Has direct authority over the Assistant Managers, Scan Analyst, all department managers and functional authority over all store employees. Reports to the Retail Operations Manager.

Requirements

Knowledge and Education

• High school graduation or equivalent, preferred.
• Knowledge of DSD/Scanning Operations
• Knowledge of front-end operations

Experience

• Five plus years' retail grocery experience required.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Standing / walking - high level
• Environment - convenience store
• Travel - some local travel required for running business errands
• Lifting - up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to unload merchandise from trucks and operate hydraulic equipment
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be at least 18 years of age
