Job summary

NEFCO is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and delivery coordination. You will lead warehouse associates, ensure inventory accuracy, maintain safety standards, and drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include coaching and developing staff, enforcing policies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coaching and developing staff.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.

Logistics Supervisor

What You Will Do:

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and delivery coordination. You will lead warehouse associates, ensure inventory accuracy, maintain safety standards, and drive operational efficiency. Responsibilities include:

• Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and delivery operations.
• Ensure orders and shipments are accurately picked, packed, loaded, and delivered.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely customer service.
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Coach, train, and develop team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Support employee training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review and approve timecards, PTO requests, and payroll adjustments.
• Conduct safety investigations and partner with HR as needed.
• Support operational projects and other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• 45-50 hours per week

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift experience and ability to obtain required certifications.
• Detail-oriented with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to leadership.

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete surfaces.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist as needed.
