Job summary

RG&T Solutions is seeking a Store Operations Manager to lead daily retail operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance reviews in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage inventory, safety, and cash handling while driving sales and maintaining presentation standards across the store.

Role Overview: Responsible for managing store operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Ensures effective planning and implementation of processes such as ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, and sales. Maintains inventory accuracy, controls expenses, and monitors business trends to meet sales and profitability targets.

Key Duties

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees; ensure proper staffing and conduct performance reviews.
• Provide employee training, address performance issues, and recommend pay and advancement.
• Communicate safety, conduct, and performance expectations; facilitate meetings and safety initiatives.
• Oversee store opening and closing, ensuring security and operational efficiency.
• Analyze financial statements, manage inventory, and ensure product presentation aligns with company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, control damages, and adhere to cash handling and security procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service, ensure a clean and safe environment, and maintain store tools and equipment.
• Follow company policies, complete documentation accurately, and ensure staff compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to interpret operational documents and perform mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Experience in retail management and familiarity with federal labor laws preferred.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations.

Physical & Working Conditions: Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, occasional climbing, and driving. Fast-paced environment with moderate noise; exposure to outside weather conditions occasionally.
