Job summary

ShopRite of Cheltenham, Cheltenham, PA, is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to help deliver a safe, customer-friendly experience. You will detect theft, protect store assets, and report suspicious activity while maintaining excellent service standards.

Responsibilities include using loss prevention tools, observing store operations, and assisting in training staff. The role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shift.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and dusty environments.
• Willingness to travel to multiple store locations if required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize loss prevention tools to identify and minimize theft.
• Detect and apprehend customers, associates, and vendors for theft as directed.
• Represent the company in criminal actions as needed.
• Observe security standards and report abnormal behavior.
• Maintain security of entrances and communicate with store management.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Coordinate activities to ensure safety and efficiency within the store.
