Job summary

ShopRite of Bensalem in Bensalem, PA is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to help protect assets and maintain a safe shopping environment. You will perform observations, CCTV monitoring, and detain individuals when necessary in accordance with company policy.

Ideal candidates are attentive, able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work cooperatively with store teams while delivering courteous service to customers.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to stand/walk for shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust/cleaning agents.
• Willingness to travel to multiple store locations if applicable.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Loss Prevention reporting to identify and minimize loss and shrink.
• Detect and apprehend customers, associates, and vendors for theft per policy and law.
• Represent the company in criminal actions as a result of apprehensions.
• Coordinate with Store Management and Loss Prevention Specialist on investigations.
• Maintain security of entrances and communicate with staff to prevent incidents.
