Job summary

ShopRite in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking a Store Detective to safeguard assets and provide a great customer experience. The role requires vigilance, strong observation, and effective communication with customers and associates.

Responsibilities include using loss prevention tools, identifying theft, and reporting vulnerabilities to management. You may travel to other store locations as needed and must maintain a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze and understand English.
• Stand/walk for a full shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; regularly lift 25 lbs.
• Travel to multiple store locations if needed.
• Interact with customers in a helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Loss Prevention tools to identify and minimize loss.
• Detect and apprehend theft in a professional manner.
• Represent the company in related legal actions as needed.
• Report vulnerabilities and coordinate with Store Management.
