Job summary

7-Eleven is recruiting for an Assistant Store Leader Trainee to join our North Carolina team. You will work with the Store Leader to supervise staff, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive merchandising and loyalty initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership development, internal advancement opportunities, and competitive pay with full-time hours. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required if retail management experience exists.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates that have at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
• Demonstrated strength maintaining high retention by developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Ability to assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting our loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures and ensuring stock.
• Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel).

Responsibilities
