• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and reporting.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Understanding of store security policies and cash controls.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, and training workers plus legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and staging, stocking, pricing, and signage.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management and prepare inventories.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Follow company procedures and policies as outlined in handbooks and SOPs.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of all company funds; maintain cash accountability.
• Assist in maintaining clean, well-stocked stores and safe environment.
• Operate store in the store manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities; control expenses and shrink.
• Complete all paperwork and documentation on time.
