Job summary

Key duties include assisting in recruiting, managing stock, and ensuring cash controls, safety, and compliance while supporting opening/closing procedures and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of experience in retail preferred for external candidates.
• Bilingual Spanish speakers may receive preference.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with merchandising, staging, stocking and pricing per store policies.
• Assist in all inventory management tasks and prepare inventories.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership.
• Model company procedures and policies as outlined in manuals.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of company funds and cash handling integrity.
• Maintain clean, stocked stores and safe customer/employee environment.
• Operate store in manager's absence; review financials and expenses.
• Complete paperwork and documentation per guidelines.
