Job summary

Buckle is opening a brand new store in Edwardsville, IL, and seeks a motivated Management Trainee to drive sales, merchandising and guest service excellence. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to develop leadership and recruit and mentor teammates, with opportunities to become Store Manager in the future.

The role includes a base pay with commission for sales, extensive benefits, and a path toward store leadership within a growing retail team in Edwardsville.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; retail experience considered in lieu.
• Strong leadership and guest service skills.
• Ability to recruit, train and coach teammates.
• Experience with merchandising and store operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding store and merchandise; assist guests in finding items.
• Develop skills and lead teammates in onboarding, coaching and interviews.
• Lead operations, including opening/closing, cash handling and loss prevention.
