Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Management Trainee to develop leadership and sales skills while performing sales, merchandising and operational tasks. You will work closely with the Store Manager to learn recruiting and leadership and may act as Store Manager in their absence.

The role emphasizes guest service, product knowledge, and training teammates, with opportunities to advance to Store Manager within the district. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail experience required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to travel and cover other stores within District as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding store and merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate merchandise based on Guest needs.
• Anticipate Guest needs with additional items and a wardrobe experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education to teammates.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, policies, and security practices.
• Lead and train Teammates and act as Store Manager in their absence.
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour and net sales goals set by Store Management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store to support Buckle’s mission.
