Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Manager in training to support store operations and execute professional and retail services. You will work under the district and store managers to recruit, train, and develop team members while ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient daily operations.

The role involves hands-on supervision, learning to manage profitability and customer service excellence. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, strong leadership abilities, and knowledge

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with automotive parts and systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Assist in recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging staff.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist in the hiring process with interviews and candidate selection.
• Support store manager with safety training and compliance.
• Make sales calls and participate in weekly customer outreach.
• Maintain delivery fleet records and ensure store is neat and organized.
• Review KPI dashboards and monthly P&L with store manager.
