Job summary

Buckle in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to fulfill our mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests. The role covers sales, merchandising and store operations, working with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit Teammates and provide leadership.

The AIT/Assistant Manager progression includes higher duties, leadership training, coaching Teammates, and stepping in for the Store Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant retail experience an asset.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to train and motivate Teammates.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing Teammates; lead in the Store Manager's absence.
• Support sales and merchandising goals through effective store operations.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, presentation, and store standards.
