Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Kansas is seeking a Management Trainee to support our mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests.

You will perform sales, merchandising and operational tasks under store management, including cashiering, merchandise displays, register procedures and facility upkeep. Work directly with the Store Manager to develop sales, recruiting and leadership skills to become a Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; retail experience may be acceptable.
• One to three months related retail experience acceptable.
• Preferred education in business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding store and merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate merchandise based on Guest needs.
• Develop sales, recruiting and leadership skills for future Store Manager roles.
• Assist Store Manager with coaching and counseling Teammates.
• Act as Store Manager in their absence.
