Job summary

7-Eleven is hiring a Retail Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in Advance, NC. This role focuses on supervising staff, delivering exceptional customer service, and executing merchandising plans to drive sales.

You will work with the Store Leader to train and coach associates, ensure cash handling accuracy, and promote the loyalty program while maintaining a clean, compliant store environment. Prior retail management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail management experience is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer service leadership alongside the Store Leader.
• Identify and develop candidates to strengthen store staffing and retention.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain clean, safe store environment and comply with health/sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers.
