Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Watertown, MA seeks an Assistant Manager in Training to support store operations, sales growth, and staff development. You will work closely with the store and district managers, supervise team members, participate in hiring, and ensure safety and training compliance while preparing for a future management role.

Responsibilities include coordinating scheduling, payroll, inventory accuracy, and KPI review.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in areas of sales, appearance, and overall operations of store.
• Supervise work performed by all team members assigned to store/HUB store.
• Recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging team members under supervision.
• Train new team members assigned to him or her.
• Handle team member performance evaluations and recommend pay increases.
• Assist in the hiring process with recruiting tasks and interviews.
• Support store manager in safety compliance and training for staff.
